I got the hard sell from a representative for IDEARC Media for more than a year, trying to get me to increase my Yellow Pages advertising, and when I told her I wasn't getting any real action from my Yellow Pages she was nearly insulting in her replies. She basically tried to brow beat me into buying more. I finally decided to go with a Superpages pay-per-click option, reasoning I could leverage IDEARC to good effect on the internet. I hated like heck to go through that sales representative but had no option. I ended up with automatic deductions from my account. Then the price of gas bankrupted my business (we are an RV business). Now in the process of bankruptcy, and out of business since October, I can't get them to stop taking $400 per month out of my account. The process for ending the relationship is totally onerous. It requires about 10 pieces of proof that you are out of business, including one notarized piece. If I start another business ever, I won't deal with IDEARC.
