Hall's Towing Complaint - Hall's Towing Service Sucks

Review by Nicolette J on 2008-12-27
JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI -- Hall's Towing sucks!!! When my car was found after being stolen, the police contacted Hall's Towing to retrieve it. This turned out to be a costly mistake. Hall's motto is, "WE don't want an arm an a leg, we just want your business". What a load of bull!! The customer service was the worst of all time. I initially thought that maybe the representative was having a bad day. However, her attitude did not improve after several phone calls. After scrapping up the money to retrieve my vehicle from their lot, I went down to pay my bill. The lady (not hardly) behind the counter was even more rude in person. From the grimacing looks she gave me and the constant rolling of her eyes, I could tell she did not want me there and was not happy with helping me. I asked her for a statement of charges and that really set her off. Her snappy comments and tart remarks were the last things I needed to hear on top of having my car stolen. Upon inspection, I noticed I had been charged for two tow trucks because they did not dispatch and adequate vehicle initially. Before my car began to accumulate storage fees, I was charged 210.00.

Have you ever heard of anything like this? My car was with them for two weeks. After that time, my bill was up to 700.00. Needless to say, I hope I never have to see or hear of them again. God Bless you all because you will need it I am sure!!!

Why do you have to pay the towing and storage fee when your car was stolen. Call the detective that handled your case and tell them that the towing company should not be charging you at all when your car is stolen.

File a claim with your insurance company.

I had to claim a stolen vehicle from impound once, an illegally towed vehicle once (got my $ back!), an abandoned vehicle once (that I had loaned out), and a friend's vehicle who got a DUI.
4 different yards, and all 4 treated me like I was a freaking criminal scumbag. There must be a mandatory class on how to be a professional a-hole that these places must attend.
And they all deal with you through that little window so you can't throttle the crap out of the smart mouths.
