Best Buy Complaint - No Phones Answered, And Other Problems
WINSTON-SALEM, NORTH CAROLINA -- Bought an XM radio at Best Buy, and want to make an appointment for car installation. They instruct you to contact the store to make an appointment, but the store won't answer their phones. (Rings and rings, but never an answer.) Contacted Geek Squad 800 number and online assistance, and their answer both times was contact the store, or drive out there and ask for an appointment. Ridiculous to ask consumer to make 30-mile round trip to go make an appointment, and then drive 30 miles again for the actual appointment. Why have phones if you don't answer them? Of course, these are the same people from whom we bought a refrigerator last year, delivery truck came to house and determined it wouldn't fit through kitchen doors, so they just took it back to store ... then store claimed we hadn't returned it.
And a couple months ago, we purchased an external hard drive there, got home, opened box and it was filled with rocks.
