Chrysler Complaint - Poor Quality
The company I work for bought a brand new 2004 Dodge 3500 Quad Cab SLT from the start it has had its problems the navigation radio had to be replaced 3 different times and we complained each time about the rear tires wearing funny they looked at the rear of the vehicle and told us on several occasions everything was fine we also hand all 4 ball joints replaced by the dealer and complained about the problem with the rear tires because replacing 6 tires at a time isn't cheap well on December 26 2008 on a trip down south the truck finally thru the rear end on interstate 77 we had the Dodge towed to a local rear end shop. The next morning the shop told us the bearings were shot and the one axle was broke. Then the big news, the housing was cracked now we thought that was a little far fetched because housings don't crack that easily. Also the truck only has 135,000 miles on it so we contacted our normal dealer the service manager agreed with us and gave us the mfg. Number and said they could help (fat chance) when we called they were very nice they had us take it to the closest Dodge dealer the dealer there told them that it was not abuse that caused this and the representative said they were not responsible because there was no problem before (Warning: always get it in writing when you complain even if they can't find anything wrong).
So needless to say the Dodge still sits there to day waiting for parts and total repair is going to be 5,000.00 And to think we bailed them out we should have let them go bankrupt I will never by a Dodge again. After spending 56,000 on this one thanks for nothing Chrysler.
