Cruise.com Complaint - Avoid Cruise.com --- Worst Service In The Travel Industry - Cruise Package On Norwegian Spirit
Cruise Package On Norwegian Spirit - Complaint

OCEAN SPRINGS, MISSISSIPPI -- I booked a cruise on NCL Spirit through Cruise.com in May, 2008. I had cruise credits from NCL in the amount of $290 to be applied to any cruise on any NCL ship. I tried for over SEVEN MONTHS to get these cruise credits applied to my booking. I sent a copy of the letter from NCL awarding me the cruise credits--I sent it twice to the headquarters of Cruise.com. Both times, the agent who was dealing with me claimed that she had not received the letter. I used the correct address and postage and sent it to her directly, and she said she never received it.
Yeah, right. Cruise.com simply didn't want to acknowledge the credits because their commission is based on the total price, and my credits would lower the price, and their profit.
I fought with them for months right up until two days before the ship sailed, and then they finally dealt with my cruise credits because I threatened to sue them. I had asked to speak with a supervisor numerous times, and each time, I got disconnected. I spoke with the Assistant Director, and told him I would sue the company, and then I got results, although very grudgingly.
I would never deal with this outfit again. I have never seen such poor service anywhere in the travel industry. I would advise everyone to book cruises through some other agency--avoid Cruise.com. Their idea of service is to do nothing and wait for you to give up in disgust.
