Chili's Complaint - Worst Dining Experience By Far
GULFPORT, MISSISSIPPI -- In dined at the Gulport, MS store with a group of about 10. First, I tried to order a drink at the bar, while waiting for my group to show up. I was finally acknowledged by the bartender after about 5 minutes. 5 minutes later, she still hadn't made my simple drink (she was socializing with regulars and other staff members); so I went to my table to meet my group.
Our server seemed liked she was extremely irritated and had an attitude. She never checked with us to make sure everything was ok; I don't think she even smiled once. She forgot to ring in my food. My salad didn't arrive until 10 minutes after everyone had their food. She didn't inform me of this, but I knew what the case was because I used to wait tables. When it did come out, my chicken was raw. I told her this, and she didn't apologize or offer to replace it. She just started at it in front of the whole table, and acted like I was making it up (she was looking hard for some pink; when in fact it was RED!)
My friend asked for a togo box. It had a hair in it, so he asked for another. She brought him the same box (he marked it to see if she would bring him the same one). She got an attitude with him, and didn't apologize (ONCE AGAIN!).
I own a restaurant and know that customers are more important then ever these days. Also, jobs are more and more sparse. This girl didn't value her job, nor the customers that pay her salary. I contacted Chili's headquarters about this; no response. I didn't see a manager at this location, so I didn't get to talk to one.
