Toyota of Richardson Complaint - Bait and Switch - 2009 Sienna
RICHARDSON, TEXAS -- I didn't think that car dealerships still tried to get away with bait and switch. But Toyota of Richardson tried with us.
We received an online price for a 2009 Sienna which was "guaranteed for 72 hours." When we came in, the internet salesman we had dealt with was "busy" and he handed us over to someone else, who proceeded to tell us that he couldn't give us that price - the other guy was new - the price was below his wholesale price - didn't understand how the other guy came up with the price, etc. etc.
So we walked. That dealership didn't just lose the sale, they lost a customer.
