Best Buy Complaint - A call for a missing item turned into horrible service!
On 1/15 i placed an order for two items. I received notification they were shipped on 1/16. I received one item last wednesday. Today is thursday 1/29, over a week from when i received the first item and i have not received the second item. I spent over half an hour on the phone speaking with two representatives who did not help me. It was explained to me I had to wait 21 days from when the item was shipped to have a new one sent. I was passed to a manager who would hardly even listen to me and didn't offer any sort of compensation for the terrible situation they put me in. I have been more than patient giving it over a week from when i received the first item to wait and see if the second item would arrive. It is unbelievable that best buy will not try to rectify things for their clients. I ordered this almost a month in advance from when i needed it thinking that was plenty of time and it still has not arrived. I even asked the manager if best buy, out of a courtesy to the clien would ship the item express after the 21 days and he said "you can choose to upgrade your shipping at a charge." How can you say that to a client who is so dissatisifed with your service? I expect all of you out there have used the post office before and from your own experience know that once something has been shipped within the u.s it doesn't take more than 4-5 business days even if it is going coast to coast. You all know if an item was shipped to you, and 20 days later it still hasn't arrived that the item is gone for good. I find it abhorable that a customer service manager didn't even have any skills in trying to comfort the client or trying to rectify the situation in some way. I am disgusted that nothing came out of a 32 minute conversation. I have worked in customer service before and believe me, there is always a way to satisfy the client or make things better and I didn't experience any of that tonight. Now instead of feeling better, i'm more upset than I was when I called because of your lack of good service.
