T-Mobile Complaint - What Is Up With The Lack Of Customer Service?
LONG BEACH, CALIFORNIA -- I was in between an iPhone and the new G1 for a while but I decided to stay with my current carrier because of the customer service, needless to say T-Mobile customer service is only good if you do not have a problem!
I accidentally ordered an additional phone because I did not know that the first phone was on backorder. I never received an invoice or anything for the phones until they showed up on my next month's bill and by the time the bill shows up your return period has expired!! The only way that you can find out that you cannot return the phone is by going on the website.
I talked to about seventeen (not an exaggeration!) different people at customer service that all said something different about the policy. One said return the phone, so I did. I called for the credit and the next person said I could not get a credit or the phone back! I called again and that person said I could get the phone back but still could not get a credit for the unopened phone. These people used to be so nice but now are just plain hard to deal with, one guy even called me a liar!!
I just got laid off and just wanted a credit for the phone that they have in their possession but they will not cooperate.
This lack of customer service and inconsistent policy is unnerving!
