Sharp Electronics Corporation Complaint - Faulty Bluray Player

Sent faulty Bluray player for repair. Waited 6 weeks for part after several phone calls I was told to chase part myself. After sales service absolutely appalling, will never purchase a Sharp product as long as I live.

I frequent a Blu Ray site, and several posters there have had problems playing some of the new releases on their players. I would not buy a Sharp Blu Ray player.

Did you send the player back to Sharp for repair and they told you to chase down the part? Unacceptable! Customers shouldn't have to do that for a place repairing their machine. I've had really good luck with LG products. If you purchase a new blu-ray player I recommend the LGBD300.

I would recommend the Panasonic BD35 or BD55. There have been no reported playback, or faulty issue with them as far as I know. I've got a BD30, and it's been a great player for me.
