Martha Stewart Living Complaint - Christmas Tree - Prelit Christmas Tree

Review by byoder on 2009-01-07
DOTHAN, ALABAMA -- This is my second Christmas using my new Martha Stewart prelit tree and about two thirds of the lights went out which made my tree look awful. You can't fix the problem with all of the ornaments on the tree. I was very disappointed in the product. Those trees cost too much money to only get one year's use out of them. I know there are more complaints on these trees. I simply can't afford another one this soon so now I will have to buy lights put on a prelit tree. How disappointing! I have always had high regards for the company until now.

You're not alone, there have been a number of the same complaint about this Christmas Tree.

I can't remember which member once suggested a solution to this problem. Seems the figure '250' comes to mind in the name of an item to purchase which will find the defective bulb(s).

Any of you out there remember it? I did a cursory search and couldn't find anything on it. Hope the member sees your letter and comes on here to give you an answer.

The Lightkeeper PRO?

That's it, Buddy01! Where did I come up with the '250?' Must have been because I was 'thinking'--which is very dangerous for me. :)

I found the review on the product and two members recommended it.

I wonder if the poster will come back to get a suggestion for resolving the problem, or if M3C is being used just as another place for venting.

Thanks Buddy01 for helpful information about Lightkeeper PRO. I'm still considering trashing my tree.
