Star Choice Network Complaint - Network Complaint - Dish Network Satellite TV

SAULT STE MARIE, CALIFORNIA -- Last January We decided to get a satellite system it was with the understanding that we were to receive certain programming and we bought our own receivers. For whatever reason, the programming that we ordered was changed without our knowledge or agreement several times. When we complained our programming was returned. In August when we were looking at other television options the company upgraded our programming in order to keep us as customers. They agreed to offer similar programming at a similar price to that of a competitor. This as we understand it is very common. We were of the understanding that this programming and price would remain constant until we requested a changed or cancelled our programming .
3 months later, November 28,after supper we notice that all the programming given to us in August were not there anymore. We called and told them that we were fed up and to disconnect everything. Now we got a statement charging us 216.00 for disconnecting and send us two empty boxes for our receivers. They are not going to get anything.

We have had nothing but misunderstanding and misinformation from this company and it’s representatives. As far as we are concerned they did not live up to their obligations and did not provide us with the programming that we wanted and were told by their representatives that we would get. As far as the receivers go, they are ours. If they want them back, they will have to pay for them.

they will turn you over for the 216$ to a collection agency. and trust they will add on a few more hundred to re-claim the lose of the recievers, that you paid for. do you still have the receipt for that purchase?
