M-Qube, Inc. Complaint - Bogus Charges - Cell Phone Download Subscription

Review by sunniejam77 on 2009-01-08
OSWEGO, ILLINOIS -- While looking at my cell phone bill, I found a charge for a download from m-Qube on one of our phones. It was a subscription for a horoscope from a website called whowillimarry.com. My husband and I are 49 and 53 and this is not a site we'd be on. I was able to stop the subscription and get the charges taken off by calling our cell phone provider (AT&T). However, we never ordered this in the first place, nor did we receive any horoscopes on any of our phones. The charges were $9.99 per MONTH. This company has numerous complaints against them by people who thought they were buying one download and instead were entered into a monthly subscription.

Beware, and look carefully at your cell phone bill every month. If you want to download ring tones, etc., do it from your cell phone provider, NOT a internet site that may charge you monthly.
