Leatherup.com Complaint - Wanted To Warn Everyone About This Company - Executioner Leather Jacket

Executioner Leather Jacket - Complaint
Review by christpower on 2009-01-08
Just wanted to warn everyone about this company, bought a jacket there for a road trip forcasted to be in the mid 30's. The day I got the jacket in the mail and opened it I immediately noticed the left sleeve cuff was unstitched, no big deal as I can fix that I thought. So I put the jacket on and unzip the left sleeve vent, bam! The zipper breaks. Crap, now what? My road trip was five days away and I had to have a jacket so not enough time to return it. Well I'll just get it fixed and Leatherup says they'll reimburse me. So cool we're good, go on the trip and the most part the jacket does a good job of keeping me warm which is what I bought it for. Fast forward to last weekend and now the right sleeve vent zipper breaks trying to zip it up. So I've had the jacket 45 days and both sleeve vent zippers are broke, plus I had to re-sew the cuff. POC!!! So I call Leatherup.com who "stands behind our products 100%" and not only do they refuse to refund or exchange they now say they'll only reimburse me 30% for having the jacket repaired. Am I asking too much? I don't think so as I've had the jacket less than two months.

So not only have they changed their story about helping me get the jacket fixed, but the manager won't accept calls or return e-mails (and no I've haven't been an ass) and the minimum wage girl who answered the phone was actually smug/rude about the fact that I was SOL!
