Radio Shack Complaint - Customer Service?
NEWBERG, OREGON -- The manager at the Newberg Oregon store treated me poorly. He Acted as if I was a complete bother and interruption to his day. All I was trying to do was see if I could get a refund on a mobile phone charger that broke. Not a big deal. In todays economic climate business' should treat every single customer as if they are important, not just the one's who are making a purchase, but the one's who also have a genuinely defective item. I purchased the original charger on Oct 11th 2008, it broke 83 days later, I returned to the store of purchase 1/5/09 spoke with a nice girl named [snip], who told me to come back later in the week to see her Manager. Original purchase price 21.99.
I needed a phone charger so I re-bought the same one, now on sale for $9.97, Now I'm out $31.96 and it took everything short of pulling teeth to get Andrew Hemelstrand to refund anything. In the end he refunded me $9.97, but nothing for the original 21.99 defective charger.
