Orbitz Complaint - Warning
I WILL NEVER USE ORBITZ AGAIN!!! This is literally the WORST travel company that is out there. The policy of Orbitz is to send out an e-mail if a change to a flight has been made, they do not live up to this standard at all. My flight was supposed to get me to Denver for 10am so I could be at an important meeting for noon that day, Orbitz then changed my flight so I will completely miss my meeting, an not arrive until after 8pm that day. The day before my flight was supposed to leave I checked online to make sure everything was all set, and I saw that my flight no longer existed. I NEVER GOT AN E-MAIL WITH A CHANGED FLIGHT NOTICE. When I called to see why my flight number wasn't working they told me that they changed the flight and supposedly had sent me an e-mail. I never got that e-mail. I then proceeded to tell the supervisor this was not my fault, and that she was going to have to fix this because can't miss my meeting. She then told me the only way she could get me to Denver for 10am the next day was if I paid almost $400 extra, and she thought she was doing me a favor by waving a $50 passenger fee!! So ridiculous!
This company has no regards for their passengers, and wouldn't compensate at all. I feel that Orbitz is fraudulent for claiming they sent an e-mail they never sent and expecting me to pick up the pieces and fix their mistakes. My suggestion, DON'T USE ORBITZ!
