Thomson/RCA Complaint - Thomson RCA Horrible Customer Service
CANADA -- I have been reading the complaints on this site and was amazed at how similar they are. My problem with this company has gone far beyond the fact that they ignored me long enough to void the warranty on my inexpensive home theater system(or should I say cheap because it died before a year was up), but it is unbelievable that they are able to do this to so many people and get away with it. I have gone through all the phone #s email addresses for RCA as well as Thomson themselves, like many of you have, and have been lied to and misled every time. I have decided to take another approach. I have contacted Walmart, the store where I originally purchased the product, and have made them aware of how poorly one of their suppliers is treating their customers in hopes that Walmart buying power might have some impact on this company. Thomson/rca is indirectly having a negative impact on Walmart and other stores if like many people say in this forum, they will not purchase an RCA product again, myself included. Walmart has assured me they will follow up on my concerns but I haven't heard from them as of yet as I have just filed the complaint.
Maybe we should all start contacting whatever stores we have purchased our products at with our stories in hopes that money and buying power will speak for us. I don't even care if I am reimbursed for my faulty RCA product anymore but something must be done about this company. Good luck to you all and I will post here again if I get anywhere with Walmart.
