Enterprise Rent-A-Car Complaint - They Are Thieves! Watch Out!
HOUSTON, TEXAS -- Rented a car for a week and we asked how much the estimated cost will be but were shocked to see they charged us more than double for the amount we were told. When you called them, you could hardly get a hold of anyone to give you the answer. Eventually, we found that the reason for overcharge was that, my husband had put the initial next to some extra coverage which really did not need. He was in a hurry so he did not pay too much attention. We admit that it was our fault not to screen every tiny words on the contract. However, we had already told them we had our own insurance coverage and why would they still check the extra coverage boxes for us and asked us to sign? We made complain but nobody ever response. We were even more shocked to have received a letter from them, asking for damage claim of US$110 for bumper paint or so. When we returned the car, they did not say anything and said we are good to go. But after a week, they sent the letter. It is ridiculous! The car was just fine when we returned it.
So, I think they just like to make money in a very dirty and immoral way. So, I will not recommend anyone to rent from them, unless you don't care how much they will take from you.
