Ford Motor Credit Complaint - Ford Motor Credit Won't fix their mistake
COLORADO -- Wow, where do I start? I have been having a problem with Ford Motor Credit for over a year now. First it started when in Jan 03 they changed their account numbers.
By doing that, my wife's payment started going to my account and her payment started going to my account. We both drive Fords and are both financed thru Ford Motor Credit.
Anyway, after six months having to call every month and have the payments reversed, we cancelled our allotments and started paying by phone. However, there were still a couple of misapplied payments on our accounts. So I call them again and get a little upset with them and ask them to fix the whole account. Apparently someone did, they wiped out my June 03 payment on my wife's Explorer.
Now I have been trying to get them to credit my June 03 payment back on my account, I have faxed them proof that the payment has been made twice now, not to mention all the phone calls I make to people who seem to have no clue at all!
Plus we weren't even notified we were 30 days late until almost 60 days later!
So now I have a 30 day late report on my credit and over $100 late fees which keep adding up every month. I am not going to give in and pay them again for a payment I already made!!!
But no one in Ford Motor Credit can seem to fix this. I'll keep what I think of them to myself, altough when I think of them I get furious.
