First Franklin Home Loan Services Complaint - Complaint - Home Loan / Mortages

Review by timmys on 2009-01-10
QUEENS, NEW YORK -- I recently experienced hardship due to insufficient work in my employment, I contacted first franklin to see if they could assist me as I was having a little trouble making my mortgage payments, their resolution department offered me "help". they didn't help me they helped themselves because now my home loan is more than the value of my, home. I can't refinance and I am stuck. also they charge your account without your permission. they don't explain everything up front in details. they explain that the past due payment would be adjusted to the back of the loan and my mortgage would be up to date, now the total loan amount went up almost twelve thousand dollars more. I hope the the government is seeing what these banks and loan specialist are doing to people, they are not helping the consumer as promised but themselves that is why more people are still losing their home to foreclosure.

"What does resolution really mean" to mortgage companies does it mean that they help themselves to benefit alone because they certainly didn't help we as they claimed they would.

How did you think they were going to help you? Forgive the overdue payments? Accept an IOU? Of course any overdue payments would be added to the original loan, thus increasing the amount of the mortgage.
