Ashley Furniture Complaint - Poor Quality - Awful Warranty/Extended Warranty
PEWAUKEE, WISCONSIN -- Two years ago, my husband and I purchased an entire house full of furniture for our new home. Included in this was our living room set of a leather sofa, loveseat, chair, and storage ottoman. We just discovered that on the back of the sofa that a piece of wood from the frame is loose and is pushing against the back panel. Because we had purchased the extended warranty, we were sure we would be alright. WRONG. The original warranty on the frame and everything is only 1 YEAR! I guess that tells you about the quality. The extended warranty only covers the fabric/leather. Because the leather doesn't have a hole busted through it yet, it is not covered. Oh- and by the way- you have to call within 5 days of when you discovered the problem.
Sad thing is, we barely use our furniture and this is how it has held up. Apparently, that is why their prices are lower- so you can save up to buy a new set every year or so.
