HomeDepot Complaint - Kitchen From Hell - Kitchen Refacing

Review by mistydog on 2009-01-10
VINELAND, NEW JERSEY -- I met with a Homedepot representative in my home regarding having my kitchen refaced. The representative was so positive and kept emphasizing how important customer satisfaction was to the company, She lied!!!!!!!!!! The project was started in March 08 and it still is not completed to my satisfaction, some of the doors are uneven, the valance is uneven, door hardware already broke, they brought the wrong doors, some of the laminate already came off, the replacement doors were still wrong and I could go on and on but I won't. When I called and spoke to the project supervisor he basically is me that I need to take once again another day off from work because they screwed up again. When I had it out with him again because they schedule yet another repair visit with us and we took off from work again and his employees broke down which I understand but no one called us for 5 hours!!!! Then he told me they would do me a favor and send someone out on a Saturday.

Does he not realize that he has once again screwed us because now we are unable to enjoy our weekend because we must stay home to accommodate them!! I am so discussed with this company and will new use them again nor will I go buy anything at their store because they don't deserve a penny of my money!

home depot is good at some things but horrible with anything requiring installation or outside vendors. They contract all these types of jobs out and some are good but many horror stories. Your in good company but a search on almost any forum would have warned you about using any HD install or service.
