Hewlett Packard Complaint - Hewlett Packard Wins The Worst Customer/Repair Service Award
OMAHA, NEBRASKA -- Our Hewlett-Packard printer/copier/fax/scanner was the most used piece of equipment in our small office. It broke just 8 months after installation. We had to send it back to Hewlett Packard for repair (we bought it directly from them, and it was under warranty).
They claimed it would be repaired in 7-10 days. HA, HA, HA. A month later we still did not have it back. In that time we called them 3 times.
The first time they said they did not think it was under warranty so they hadn't looked at it yet, but we would have it in a week.
The second call yielded "its in transit." HA, HA, HA. The third call was the best. "We don't have a record of your printer." They had lost our printer. "So the guy we talked to before lied about it being in transit?" "Oh, know they said, it was lost in transit." "Really?" "Yeah, but you'll have it by Friday."
I wonder how they know I will have it by Friday if they cannot even find a record of it?
Another call to a supervisor led us to the promise of a printer by Friday even if they had to send us a brand new one. We will see what happens.
The printer was sent in on December 2, 2008, today is January 12, 2009. By far the worst customer service I have ever had.
