24 Hour Fitness Complaint - Don't Use This Gym If You Care About Customer Service
LEWISVILLE, TEXAS -- We thought that 24 hour fitness would be convenient for our schedules, so we set up an account and automatic monthly withdraw online. To start, the online service is terrible, and nothing works like it says it will. Even though we had given them the right banking info., they were unable to process the number because of something with their system. After we received a postcard from them in the mail, my husband called to fix it all. When he called, the representative was extremely rude to him and wouldn't answer his questions or explain the issue. He asked to speak to a supervisor, but she told him one wasn't available. She said that one would call him, so he hung up. I found out that we had been double charged, so I had to call back(this is the fifth call now and still no supervisor), and they said that they could refund the payment in 72 hours. After all of our trouble, we can't cancel without a thirty day notice. They put in every catch they can to get the most money from you and make everything difficult for you and then the customer service is horrible.
They showed absolutely no remorse, there was no apology, and we were the only responsible ones in the deal. We will never get a membership with 24 hour fitness again, and we will tell everyone one we know that the service is horrible. The convenience of 24 hours is just not worth the abuse.
