Sprint Nextel Complaint - Can't Take Care Of Military Going Over Seas
I'm a marine, I've been with sprint and Nextel since 2004 and there is always something.. From then giving me the wrong data plan and charging me for 200 text messages when I ask for a unlimited texting plan... To the phone just not working at all and the customer service representative being a complete #$%$# and not helping at all. Well I must say, if you call a few times you will eventually get someone who can help you, and they will usually pay you back for your time or there error, but when it comes to taking care of the military going over seas they don't really do much. I have an unlimited data plan and 1500 min, it says it covers unlimited roaming. Well sprint doesn't have a world wide plane, but they will charge you $1.99 A min. An continue to take off your minutes you pay for in your plan. You would think that they would be able to come up with something for the military personnel so we could pay a monthly charge for the roaming charge, but no. So I asked what it would take to turn off my service. The representative I spoke with said they would put my phone in a standby mode and it won't cost anything, but it extends my contract for another 2 years after I turn it back on.
So I asked if I could just cancel my services with sprint and they said I could but my wifes phone under my plan would be charged disconnection fee. I guess what ever happens I will be getting screwed and I will just end up switching to a new phone company. I use to tell everyone to go to sprint. Now I just think sprint suck.
