JCP uses two different ways to show an item is unavailable when ordering. I have never seen a website this messed up.
Sometimes it shows an item is available until you add it to the shopping bag. OK, that seems acceptable, but then again... sometimes you add it to the shopping bag and it then doesn't show that it is NOT available until after you've filled out the shipping and billing info. Then it takes you to the confirmation screen that finally shows the item is not available. That is totally unacceptable!
I wasted hours of my time deciding on curtains for my home only to see that most of them were not available on the confirmation screen. After a 24 hour wait, JCP website still had the same info. So, basically, they report items available in at least 2 different ways, totally inconsistent, which causes consumers time and energy. They just lost a shopper for life!!
I hope I'm able to save someone time as I've vested too much of my time, already. Seriously, I've been shopping online for many years and never have I seen so much inconsistency, and from a company that should have it together. JCP is no small company! To make matters worse the JCP customer service department manager only offered excuses... very lame excuses. In today's day and age JCP should have it together.
