The Company Store Complaint - Very Disappointed
DALLAS, TEXAS -- Read this first... before buying from THE COMPANY STORE. I ordered a warm girls winter coat from The Company Store the beginning of November. After waiting one month and still "no Coat" I called them to cancel my order. They refused to cancel my order because they said that the coat was being shipped out that same day. I waited one more week....still " no Coat". I called to cancel my order again. Customer service told me the same thing....That the order would be shipped that day. I insisted that they cancel my order, " but they refused". When the coat finally arrived the end of December a full two months later after the order was placed....I was curious...so, I opened the package which was simply a very small yellow envelope....I could not believe that they could fit a down coat inside of an envelope. But, to my surprise there was a very cheap looking, very flat coat inside. It was a lighter weight than most sweaters. I called customer service again and asked to speak to a manager. She agreed to send to me a prepaid label so that I could return the coat for a full credit. I returned it immediately. It is now two weeks later on Jan 16th and I received an email saying that they are just now processing my credit and that they are deducting $6.95 for shipping costs.
Their quality is extremely poor and their customer service and shipping is the worst I have ever encountered with a catalog ordering company. I am suggesting that you shop some where else.
