Target - Clovis Ca 900 Shaw Ave Complaint - What's going on at Target?
CLOVIS, CALIFORNIA -- I am a huge fan of Target any other day than today. I have to say in the past I've been a little frustrated when buying prints through their photo shop just because no one is ever at the counter so you have to stand there for a long time while MANY other Target employees mill about, but otherwise the service is great. The girl who's working today is really sweet.
Today I ordered prints online, waited 2 hours and went to the store (yes they offer 1 hour photo on their online orders) I actually didn't expect them to be done I was willing to let them know I was there then shop around until they were done but my order wasn't there at all, they never received it. Not the girls fault at all, while it was inconvenient it wasn't the worst thing. So I left and re-placed the order. I was told to call and double check it went through this time so I did...The operator and customer service had no idea how to check if the order went through and the ONE AND ONLY employee who works the photo shop was at lunch.
Why is only ONE person trained for this? Why doesn't she have a backup for her breaks and lunches? What would have happened if I had just drove back over there rather than calling? I would have had to wait the 30 minutes plus for her to come back from lunch??? This seems a little off to me considering Target is usually so great as far as not making customers wait and having terrific customer service. I realize that the photo shop isn't the busiest place in the store, but is it so terrible to have TWO people working in the store who know how to handle this job?
I love Target and I spend quite a bit there but if this is the way customer service is headed I might as well go to the dreaded Wal-mart :| (Where no one ever knows where anything is or what customer service means)
