Audiovox Sirius Satellite Radio - Complaint

I purhcase an Audiovox Satellite Radio 2 years ago and lately the back light on the screen keeps going off. After searching the internet I found the location in New York to mail the radio to for repairs. After several weeks, I received a fax asking me for my credit card info. I submitted the info and about 3 weeks later I received the radio via Purolator (46.00 collect fees). I was disappointed when I opened the radio and found a notice that said the product was discontinued and they could not fix it. Why would a product only 2 years old not be replaced or fixed? Why would they sell such a product in the first place if they knew they would not be able to service it.

It was a total waste of money and time to have Audiovox try and repair this unit. Unbelievable!

Since they didn't fix it I would dispute the charges with your credit card company.
