Macys Complaint - Refund Not Timely Credited
NEW JERSEY -- Bought jewelry online from Macys using Debit Card. Account was immediately charged. I returned the items because of poor quality. 10 days after UPS says they delivered the items still no credit to my account. Contacted their call center and received no help. Their "policy" is that it may take 7-10 business days to credit the account. It only took them 7-10 minutes to charge the account so they get to use my money for a third of a month or more free.
Had a return to another company (Zappos) and that company paid for shipping both ways and gave credit to debit card within 2 days. Macys has a long way to go in customer service. They may go the way of Circuit City. Macys has gotten the last of my money.
