Comcast Corporation Complaint - PPV Not Ordered
Let me start by saying we were customers of Comcast for 20 years! For the last 10/11 months we have been dealing with a night mare ! When we set up the new service after we moved we made sure that there was a block on the account against ppv movies/events and the only way we could get one is if my husband or I went to Comcast and showed our ID (we have had a problem before with bills of unordered movies) We even had the people who set the account up set the pin # an NOT tell us! All was fine in the beginning until we ordered a fight, the flood gates opened and we started to get bills over $150 for PPV movies we did not order. Times when we were away on vacation, work etc. Every month we would call and try to explain this and every call ended with them saying they would have a sup call us back. . . . well the day of shut off would come and we would be on the phone again. The answer was always the same there too. "Just pay the bill in full and now and a sup will call you back and be able to credit the acct" .
Long story short this went on for 11 months, and like so many others we had no choice cause there was nothing else in our area. . so for 11 months we over paid and lost 4 different days at work waiting on a tech that NEVER SHOWED. This last month was the end of it all... approx $1,650 over paid and we got the same story yet again. BUT THIS TIME we let it get shut off and went to Fios! NOW they will not come get the boxes and modem... and due to the lines at the office I have to take ANOTHER day off from work to return them. And for the 2 months of bills we owe they say it is over $600...
To say we are upset is a major understatement, but like so many other times the big corp just keeps sticking it to the little guy... so look for my story in the news, on the radio, FCC web board, CNN as I will be writing to them all! THIS TIME I AM GOING TO FIND A WAY TO BE HEARD AND STIR THE POT!
