PIC Presidential Inaugural Committee Complaint - Scam InauguralEssay Contest

Review by marysink123 on 2009-01-21
WASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA -- The PIC (Presidential Inaugural Committee) hosted a essay contest where they wanted you to make contributions and submit essays. There were supposed to select 10 winners. Why are the winners not posted on the www.pic2009.org website. Scam!

The site also offered the opportunity to visit the white house on January 21, 2009, if you submitted your information. Who were the winners?

The PIC attended yesterday's inaugural parade with license plates: pic2009.

This organization needs to be investigated as they are constantly taking money for contests but never reporting the names of the winners.

Also, they sold inaugural ball tickets for $500 but why when the face value of the tickets were only $150.

This PIC is a scam. Watch out

Based on a segment on CNN, tickets to the inauguration were distributed to Congressmen to distribute as they saw fit. There was no 'face value' for the tickets as they are never meant to be sold. If anyone is selling tickets, they are scalping them. That is a scam unto itself.
