Kohler Complaint - Life Time Warranty - Faucet

Review by JFLaRue51 on 2009-01-23
FAIRFIELD, NEW JERSEY -- I have a Kohler faucet around 4 years old with a lifetime warranty. I needed a new pull out hose and gave them the part number, and Kohler said they do not make that hose any more but they have a new type hose for my faucet. I got the new hose (one week later) but they have change the connection on the new hose, it’s a quick disconnect type, and the faucet I have is a screw type. So I called Kohler and they said they do not know what to do. One person said they could try to find one and it will take 4 weeks to find one.

So what they are telling me I will be without water in my kitchen for 5 weeks now. Please stay away from Kohler faucets, their warranty is worth crap.

Can you disassemble the hose and take it to a Home Depot or whatever to match it up with a new one then purchase it just to save yourself some grief?

You can purchase a connection that has threads on one end and a quick disconnect on the other. I use one on my gas grill. Still, Kohler's lifetime warranty is meaningless when they discontinue older designs.
