Greenbrier Volkswagen Complaint - Greenbrier Volkswagen Are Frauds

Review by mcap on 2009-01-23
CHESAPEAKE, VIRGINIA -- I purchased a 2004 Turbo Beetle Convertible from Greenbrier VW in October 2007.
I told the repeatedly that I did not want to purchase a car that had been wrecked.
They promised several times the car I was looking at had not been wrecked.
I had even been show a carfax report for what I know now was for a different car.
On all of the paperwork my address is wrong, as well as my social security number.
So I got the real carfax report and turns out they had done all the work to it after the accident it had been in.
Awhile after that I took it in for an oil change and all all of the following had stopped working by the time they brought it back to me.
Headlights,Heated Seats, Turning signals,AC/Heat. They told me it would be 994 dollars worth of work, that I need a new clock spring and turn signal switch.
Needless to say I didn't let them repair it.
I took it to Checkered Flag VW in Virginia Beach, Va and they said it needed a new starter switch, 250 dollars.
Now the transmission is shifting very badly and is hardly drivable, I took it to a mechanic and he said it very well could be caused by the accident.
I have called repeatedly to try and get a hold of a owner. No one will give me a name.
A salesman even got on the phone and said he was a manager.
I'm in talks with a lawyer.

Just warning everyone before they buy from this crooked place.

You are doing the right thing by suing them. Good luck. Voted helpful.

maybe try contacting the DA. if they truely did this on purpose, it will be discovered.
