Sears Complaint - Refrigerator Is Totally Worthless, As Is Their Repair Department
ALLEN, TEXAS -- Service has been performed on the refrigerator a minimum of 3 times since April.
My understanding from a service technician I had spoken to about two months ago, is that should another occurrence of repair come about with the one year warranty, the Lemon Law would take affect.
Well, ONCE AGAIN... Problems. This time the freezer is running BELOW ZERO! The thermostat is set as low as possible.
When calling for a replacement I was told they would service it once again. My retort was, "I don't want it repaired again. The lemon law has taken affect and want it replaced."
As belligerent as she (service department) could be, I was told that the lemon law does not take affect because all the previous calls did not have parts replaced... Only repairs made, and this is AFTER I had been told that should another occurrence happen, they would replace the unit.
I've been a many year customer of Sears (I'm 68 years old), and can tell you that this is the very LAST time I'll stop in any of their stores, let alone tell anyone about any of the positive experiences I had with them previously.
