Mi Chong's Complaint - More Than I Ordered (In a Bad Way)

Review by kellsta on 2009-01-25
ALLENTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA -- To begin, we always do 'pick-up' @ the Mi Chong's 3100 Tilghman Street.

In 2003 I had ordered our usual... chicken with broccoli.

I got that, but my son (10 @ the time) found a large dead snail in his order.

This past August (2008), while eating my ch. w/ br., I was more than startled to find A TOOTH.

It wasn't human, for sure, but definitely a tooth. It was pearly white with a definitive root break point. It looked like a canine or pig molar.

Being that Mi Chong's was closed by the time we ate, we took it the next day to complain.

They insisted that I put it in there, or maybe it was my own tooth that fell out.

While we were regular customers (at least 1x a month) we have not gone back since.

contact the local health department. they will be able to determine if it is human or annimal. they also will do some sort of investigation.

Nasty. It is not unusual for them to use dogs and cats in their food, and I know this for fact. The animals are killed right there in the store. The one near us was put out of business when one of the employees told on them. The employee who told was one of my students. These places need to be more heavily regulated than thy are.

I don't think going once a month counts as regular

First of all, I said "at least once a month". Yep, that was on a regular basis. Secondly, we do go to other restaurants.

Most importantly, I prefer to cook at home... sans TEETH in what I serve.

Furthermore, I don't see how the frequency of my patronage has to do with finding TEETH and SNAILS in my food.
