Dell Computer Corporation Complaint - Dell Financial Services
CALIFORNIA -- I purchased a Dell computer in June of 2008. I didn't pay cash, I signed on for the preferred customer account which allows me to make monthly payments. What A JOKE!!!!!!! I have been paying $50.00 a month my since my third payment! And SEVEN MONTHS LATER! my balance has gone down $56.00!!!! I've called Dell and inquired of this, perhaps it is a mistake? No, they assure it is no mistake. that is the correct balance owed. now I explain to this person on the phone that surely this must be a mistake, for how can the balance of all the payments I've made result in my balance only going down by $56.00? she say's thats just the way it is. there is interest on the balance and that it what I owe. I asked to talk to a supervisor and I am told by this person that there is no one that is higher than she. Well I lost it at that point and began using profanity, it got me now where. I can not get anyone to explain to me why my payments do not bring my account balance down. I am very upset and angry that I have purchased a product form such a horrible company. I will never get this paid off. it the account from HELL! I wanted to return the computer and was told that I could return the computer to Dell but will still owe that total balance.
I JUST WANT MY PAYMENT TO REFLECT ON MY BALANCE. I've decided to pay off the computer using my credit card, I called dell. Guess what ? it cost $9.00 to make a payment using their automated system and it cost $13.00 to make a payment with a live person!! if that don't beat all!. this will be the last time that I do business with Dell. and will NEVER recommend DELL to anyone.
