Joann Fabrics Complaint - Rude Manager
MIAMI, FLORIDA -- I have been having the same problem with my local Joann Fabric store. On several occasions they have overcharged me for items. Now what I do is review my receipt while in the store ask them to correct it and give me a refund. The reason why I do this is because they overcharge you 99.9% Of the time. That didn't cause so much of a problem for me as what happened to me this week. On January 1st I placed a special order at my local store for a cricut cartrifge which is called storytime. It was on sale for 39.99 I payed my order I was told it would arrive within 14 days. They called me and told me to go pick up my order when I arrived at the store the same person that called me told me she was sorry but the cartridge that had arrived was not the one I ordered it was someone else's after I had driven there. A week after I called to ask about my order. I was told that they called the warehouse and they said that this item had been discontinued and they would not be shipping it. She told me to go to the store to get a refund that she would leave a note to the manager saying what happened. I know the cartridges was not discontinued because is brand new it just came out and they just placed it on their website. In the store explained to the manager what had happened and asked if I can get the cartridge from the website at the price I had paid. He said no that I would have to pay full price.
When I told him that was false advertisement he rudely raised his voice and stated if I didn't like it to sue him. I use to go to that store at least twice a week and was a very good customer now I don't think I will be returning ever. I recommend to anyone who goes their to check their receipts because they always overcharge you.
