Bidz.com Complaint - No Quality Control, Crappy Return Policy - Sector, Tonino Lamborghini Watches
Sector, Tonino Lamborghini Watches - Complaint
CULVER CITY -- Over the past few weeks, I have bought 16 Sector and Tonino Lamborghini watches from bidz.com. Of these 16, 6 were either defective or had a hazy residue beneath the glass.
No problem sir, we will refund you, just send back the merchandise. Sounds good? Not at all! What about the average 25% import taxes I had to pay? What about the return shipping, which is expensive because I am located in South Africa?
To send the items back and receive my refund, I will have to say goodbye to the equivalent of about US$150.00 in shipping and import taxes, which they do not refund! In my currency, a hell of a lot of money!
Where is their quality control? Can a couple of people not be employed to check items before shipping them? A large company like that! I'm sure that they send defective items on purpose, knowing that the customers will not return it due to the fact that they will loose money in the process! It is cheaper to have the items repaired than to go through this process!
With the number of items they sell, the number of defective merchandise must be in the thousands each month!
Steer clear of bidz.com!!! They don't give a damn about their customers!
To top it all, their packaging for international shipping sucks!Items are loose in their boxes, falling around and getting damaged and cardboard boxes are almost always squashed. They send incorrect owners manuals as well.
Perhaps worst of all, do they perhaps have accounts with weird usernames that bid on items to ensure that they are not sold for below cost, usually using the autobid feature?? Where else will you find usernames like "selectfall, pushfloor, controljump, throwteach etc.", always made up of two distinct words, meaning virtually nothing together? Check around on other sites, normal people don't use names like that! They use names that mean something to them.
Some good advice - if you don't pick your money from an everlasting tree with unlimited supply, but instead have to work for it, STAY AWAY FROM BIDZ.COM! At some point you probably WILL loose money!
