Outback Steakhouse Complaint - Service and Food Preparation
MADISON, ALABAMA -- 1/25/09. My fiance and I went to eat at our local OB. We eat there at a minimum of twice a month, usually with other members of our family or friends. The item I ordered was the "Grilled Porkchops". AFter waiting nearly 45 minutes and asking our waitress several times for silverware and coffee refills which she never attended to, our food arrived. The dishes were Talipia w/ Crab which was great as usual. My PCs on the other hand when I bit into a piece, almost choked me to death, and I am not exaggerating, No one or the menu indicated they were cooked w/according to mgt. 17 spices as they were "Cajun Styled", nearly choked to death and my mouth was on fire. After regaining my breath I asked for a mgr., who informed me they were Cajun. I asked why the menu did not indicate this as I am sure some folks might want to know before ordering. His response was "most customers know this".
I find that very hard to believe and told him so, to which he replied that he would remove the charge from my bill of nearly forty some dollars. I hoped he would as they had not been eaten. Needed to tell someone.
