Liquidation Sales Informative - Liquidation Sales Refunds Or Exchanges

Review by 32031 on 2009-01-27
Let's say you purchased an item at a liquidation sale. If the item is defective out of the box many states require that the merchant either give a full refund or exchange. Unless the merchandise is clearly marked defective, used or missing parts the consumer is expected to receive a new fully functioning product. This applies even if there are signs stating ALL SALES FINAL or NO RETURNS. Research your state consumer laws to see if it applies.

I've returned defective merchandise and gotten a full refund when I showed a printout of my states law.
