Acai Berry Detox - Complaint
LAWRENCEBURG, INDIANA -- This company is totally fraudulent! After I ordered a 'free' sample just pay s/h of $3.95. I then get a charge on my bank account for $87.13. When I called the company and spoke with a representative I was informed that I had not called to cancel my membership (which I did not even no I had) within my 14 day time limit. When I tried to explain that I had just received the product the day before, the representative said that the time had shipped 10 days before the post mark on their package. I told her that I still had the package with the shipment date on it. I was basically told so what you still did not cancel within your 14 days. I spent almost 35 minutes on the phone arguing with her and then asked for a supervisor and she put me on hold indefinitely. Needless to say I waited 15 more minutes and a supervisor never got on the line so I hung up.
I then called my bank to see if there was anything I could do and they had me do a dispute form over the charge. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
