Garsch Garage Corp Complaint - Damaged car in your garage

Review by AndrzejP@skila.com on 2001-05-22
NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- I have parked my car in your garage at 175 W 87th St on May 18, 2001. I picked up the car the next morning. When I arrived home in Stamford CT. I have noticed that my car had damaged left site of the bumper, left headlight and area around it. I called immediately your garage. I was supplied with a name and phone number of a manager. The name is Ethan and the phone given to me was (516) 848-1489. After conversation with Ethan we agreed that we'll speak face to face when I will return to New York Sunday night. When I arrived to your garage Ethan refused to even accept the possibility that the accident could happen in your garage, told me that I am lying and had to hit my car somewhere else and subsequently refused to park my car. His behavior was very unplesent. There was no accident on my way home, therefore there is no other place that the damage could be done.

To help keep me as a potential future customer and any of my friends that are customers of your garage, I would like the following:

I would like Garsch Garage Corp to assume the responsibility of damaging my car and pay for neccesary repair.

At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident.

This is a tough situation. My guess is that the garage is not going to give in on this one. Even if your car was damaged in the garage by another car, is it the garages fault? I do not know. I'm interested to find out what happens. Please post an update when you hear.
