Ped Egg Compliment - Treat Your Feet!

Review by BokiBean on 2009-01-30
This is a really great product! Its sort of like a kinder gentler cheese grater for the skin on your heels and feet and really works well. They are about $10 and worth it in between pedicures or for winter dry skin.

I bought mine locally at Sally's Beauty Supply and they are also available at drug stores and area stores. They sell them online, but I never advocate for online if you can get locally to avoid shipping hassles.

Also available is a manly men's version (in black) and most men I know could use a bit of foot care.

I liked Ped Egg so much I got the extra 3 pack of replacement blades (also around $10), and got my sis and mama both their own Eggs. They love their's too.

I agree 100%! I read a review on here some time ago, and thought I'd try it. I could not have been more pleased. It's so easy to use, and so effective. I had tried everything and thought my feet were hopeless. The PedEgg not only worked - but worked fantastically!! It doesn't hurt at all, it's easy to use, and inexpensive. How much better can you get?

I've had mine for awhile and I love it. Nothing I ever tried in the past has worked as well as the pedegg.

Cool - thanks! I just saw this ad on TV the other day. I was a little grossed out when they showed how you empty it...lol. I think I just may get one now. :)

Just use a cheese grater....that's what it always reminded me of...and that dead skin they empty, DOES look like grated cheese...I'm sure it smells like my Pecorino Romano cheese....I call that my "Stinky cheese"!

How bad do your feet smell, Basher, that would make you think that? I think you'd better put your shoes back on.

My Dad's feet needs some serious miracle...but his feet are really sensitive to everything. I've been trying to get him to see a doc about his feet...but I told him that his feet are so bad they would give Stephen King nightmares.

One warning should be posted with the Ped-Egg. My wife loves it, and I used it one time. Diabetics, I found out should never use the Ped-egg. Diabetics must take extra special care of their feet, as witnessed by the fact that so many diabetics end up with no toes. I tried the Ped-Egg one night, and I admit, it did make the rough skin on my heels much smoother. The next evening, however, my heels felt like they were badly sunburned, and the day after that, they were oozing blood. I was advised to discontinue use of the Ped-Egg unless under a doctor's supervision.

Starlord, thanks very much for that tip!!!!! I backtracked and found that you are absolutely right, Ped Egg recommends that diabetics absolutely do not use their product. Very helpful info.
