Hotwire, Inc Complaint - Do Not Do Business With These People!
MELBOURNE, FLORIDA -- I'm actually a hotel front desk sales rep, I've been in the hospitality and customer service field for about 6 years, and have never heard of a company having a NO refund policy....On a HOTEL ROOM!!!
These people are crooks! I've had guests that had family members get sick near death, and they just (like a robot) tell the guest they can't do anything and won't be refunding their money either, and they're stand-offish as hell, no manners or personality at all!!!
I called and it was almost amusing, you choose the option "change reservation, or request refund" and then once you hit the button, it right away states they cannot change, edit, update, or refund your reservation AT ALL!
So why have an option on the phone... Jack A**?
There is no customer service; I know what it's like to have a guest yelling in your face for something that's not your fault, but god forbid I get an attitude, or get rude like these people have done to my guests, my GM comes up right behind me and "You're Fired" are the only words that I will hear, yet they can sell that same hotel's rooms' and have an F you, no refund pal, type of attitude, it's not right and they have no integrity at all,
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!
They're pretty much setting up shop on your block, selling your inventory, but have a policy that completely conflicts with yours, normally when that happens in business you relinquish your franchising rights.
This is the "hospitality" industry and these people are ANYTHING but hospitable!!
Have fun Hotwire, I've read about the class action lawsuits from the BBB!
Doing business in this country with no integrity is SURE to get brought to the light, I can't wait till you get hung out to dry in your class action lawsuit! We'll all be here to laugh as your company takes a fall, and there won't be ANYONE to help you up or empathize!!!!!!
