WAMU/JPMorgan/Chase Complaint - Please Contact Your Congressmen And Senators
My experience is like the reviews I've read. This company takes no responsibility and seems to seek out reasons to increase their overcharging. I was charged a late payment fee, even though my payment was received, and noted on the website, 5 days before the due date. The problem was the amount due had changed since I set up my payment. I have another credit card, and am able to set up a payment at whatever date I need to and it is accurate. I called customer service, I assume in India and they were polite but claimed they had no idea how to reach the corporate office so I could make a complaint. They were unwilling to reverse charges until I made the full amount they claim due and then I would be allowed to call back and beg for a reversal.
Please contact your representatives about reinstating usury laws to protect us all from this greed.
