Mini Of Sterling Complaint - Mini Of Sterling Has The Worst Service

Review by mini of sterling sucks! on 2009-02-04
STERLING, VIRGINIA -- Everyone who works for MINI of sterling (except the guys who actually service it) are so rude!! They have absolutely zero customer service skills. I'm forced to take my MINI there b/c there is no where else to take it in the area.

I'm considering selling my car b/c I can't imagine going in there again and being mistreated and provided inaccurate information!

What did they say or do?

There was a funny noise coming from the back passenger tire. They said I had flat tires. The tire pressure light didn't come. They gave us a "courtest 24 hour rental" car, which we returned after 24 hours -- but they kept car an additional day. I had to beg them to check to see if the tire pressure light was working (b/c we had issues with it in the past) they said no and that it's our fault for not knowing that the tires were run flats. I take it for servicing there every few months and nobody told me that... now they charged us for the rental eventhough it was suppose to be free. We had to call MINI customer service to even get them to look at the tire pressure in the first place.. and then they lied to my husband and told us that we were rude to everyone in the store! Which we were not.. and asked to tell us who we rude too and we would talk to them... they refused.. and then said that we HAD to pay for the rental eventhough our car is under warranty! I've called them so many times...and haven't had a returned call from them.

Very helpful review. I'm confused, did they check the low pressure light and 'no' it was okay, or 'no' did they refuse to check the light/sensors?

sorry -- let me clarify. they agreed to check the light after two days of complaining, talking to everyone and MINI head office customer service and they "claim" it's working -- however i don't see how it could be if my tires were apparently fully flat!
