Verizon Complaint - Verizon Repair Service
HERNDON, VIRGINIA -- We did not have any dial tone on our Verizon phone line for home. Called Verizon on Jan 27th and placed an order for repair. I got an appointment for Jan 29th from 8:00 AM to 7:00PM. After waiting all day for the Verizon people to show up, got a text message from Verizon at 6:35 PM that "because of the call volume, the call is rescheduled for Jan 30th between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM" .. Same thing happened on Jan 30th and it became Feb 2nd from Jan 30th. So, I decided to cancel the service from Verizon, called COX and changed all my services from Verizon to COX including phone and TV, they came same day for the installation and completed it.
Later the cox guy looked into out NID box and found out that there was no signal and his conclusion was that the problem was in Verizon line, but they never cared to repair it in time.
