TOMBALL, TEXAS -- I recently changed electrical providers after Gexa Energy gouged me big time. [snip]
Following hurricane Ike, I received the highest bill (not because of usage because power was out) I have ever had. Oct-Dec was over $4000 for a single family house! The rate was outrageous and had nothing to do with natural gas or oil prices as it should have which have been crashing. In my opinion they were simply gouging customers to recover lost revenue during the Ike outage or to force customers to sign high rate long term contracts.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS with these investor-owned crooks!
