Sprint Complaint - Not A Happy Customer At All!
WEST VIRGINIA -- So, first of all, I get their wireless laptop card. I signed a 2 - yr. contract and for the 1st 14 months everything is FINE. No problems. Well, last week we notice that the internet is slower than dial-up and we just figure it is the weather since we have been having snow and ice. Then I get a letter in the mail stating that they have been "monitoring" my usage and "making note" that I had been roaming and that they had cut me back and limiting my service. This ticked me off since when I signed up there was NO mention made of roaming, I was put on an "unlimited" plan and was told that we had "excellent" coverage where we lived. So, I called Sprint and the lady that I spoke to says that they are just starting this new thing about a week ago that limits usage...and that if I want to cancel my contract I can with no termination fees and she will even credit me one months service. Hello??? I want the internet service just the way it was. I live in an area where there is no DSL or cable. So before this happened we were stupid enough to sign up for their cellphone service too and was told that we had excellent coverage...and for the 1st month we did. After that 1st month (trial period) was over with the service went down the drain and now in order to have any phone service at all when at home we have to be on roaming ONLY. We have fought with Sprint to no end about this...with no resolve. They suck.
To do their customers this way is terrible. They lie to them and tell them anything to get them to sign up and then once they get them signed up they could care less about what happens to them. I would not recommend them to anyone nor would I renew my internet with them or my cellphones.
